Daybed Books offers boutique cover design services with a heavy focus on custom typography. I’ve seen too many otherwise gorgeous covers be dragged down by system fonts that were applied as an afterthought. I don’t want that to happen to you.
Equally neglected are the back covers. I’ll create a cohesive and eye-catching wrap image for your paperback, because your book deserves the best.
In addition to custom cover design, I also offer beta reads and full developmental edits that help authors see “the big picture” before diving into more detailed edits.

Editorial Services
Beta Reads: $10 per 10,000 words
A one-page report on the broad strokes of your manuscript. What’s working. What isn’t. How will the reader experience it? This can be done before or after line and copy edits depending on your goals.
Developmental Pass: $10 per 1000 words
A thorough, multi-page overview on your manuscript’s pacing, plot, structure, and character development. This pass should be done before line and copy edits. This option includes a one hour phone call to discuss the notes.
